adLDAP - LDAP authentication with PHP for Active Directory Logo

Accented Characters

If you wish to modify attributes containing accented characters, e.g. ü, ö, à, they will require encoding in UTF-8 format.

All attributes passed to one of the following functions will have 8bit character checks performed on them and, if necessary, run through utf8_encode() automatically.

  • $adldap→user()→create()
  • $adldap→user()→modify()
  • $adldap→contact()→create()
  • $adldap→contact()→modify()
  • $adldap→exchange()→addAddress()
  • $adldap→exchange()→contactMailEnable()
